Smart planting for healthy bees
Planting for monofloral honey crops
Planting groves of stands of a single species will enable you to harvest valuable monofloral honey. Groves of a single species will be attractive to bees, and if there are enough trees of the species it is possible to harvest a honey that is dominated by that species. This can be sold as a monofloral honey.
The examples below are classic native flowers that produce good monofloral honey.
